Hurricane sophomore Caila Odekirk and senior Hailey Odekirk finished first and 10th in the girls 4A final, clocking 18:17.6 and 19:12.6 on the 3-mile course at Sugarhouse Park and Highland High, at the Utah High School Activities Association state championships. Caila Odekirk improved from 13th last season in 19:15.7 and Hailey Odekirk elevated from 21st last year in 19:21.8 to help Hurricane place fifth overall with 155.5 points.
